sequences can be protected from filtering. Curly braces { }
have this function. See example.
The § ( paragraph ) symbol is
to be understood as the void symbol. If inserted in the text it can be used as
the Ø symbol in gap exercises. Unlike other special symbols, it is
displayed and is not different from any other grammatical item.
