TeXT Handler has a built-in multimedia player which can play video or animation clips ( see ) or audio ( see ). These audio clips are contained in .WAV files and .AVI files for video clips. MIDI clips can also be played. These files which usually require a lot of disk space can usually be stored on CDROM ( or network server ). TeXT Handler resorts to Microsoft's Active Movie technology (aka Windows Media Player). Acceptable formats now include Apple's QuickTime and MPEG. Several commands such as sequence marking are available. Please note these documents are digital.
Multimedia documents can be inserted as objects in the workspace to interact with the target text.
